Copper located with Rover Deluxe
Detected with Rover Deluxe (2003-2009)
Depth: 0.5 m (1.6 ft)
Region: Chile
This piece of copper rock was found with the metal detector Rover Deluxe. The user informed us that he located the copper rock in a depth of 50 cm, with the Rover Deluxe and its activated discriminator.
The OKM Rover Deluxe could discriminate between different metals in the ground. Luckily the treasure hunter set his Rover deluxe to the copper settings, so he found the copper rock. With other settings he might have found gold or other metals, like iron. With the automatic or manual ground scan of the Rover Deluxe you get immediate graphical feedback on you scans.
Copper is a beautiful and useful metallic element found throughout your home in both pure form and in chemical compounds. Copper is element No. 29 on the periodic table, with the element symbol Cu, from the Latin word cuprum. The name means "from the isle of Cyprus," which was known for its copper mines. Copper is mostly used for electric conductors, like wires, or as a thermal conductor to dissipate heat in computers. Also coins are made of Copper. The first copper coins were made in Sweden in 1624, when they introduced the copper standard.
